...Meet
Hawk Hawk is a very versitle band with highly
talented musicians from the Detroit area. Hawk is a rockin' band with the ability
to perform cover songs from the 60's to the present as well as full sets of original
and accoustic music. Hawk also has a solid fan base that likes to follow the band.
Micheal Sneed; guitar and vocals. He is the guitar players guitar player.
He has played in such bands as Unknowns, Danny Zella and Cottage, White Heat,
Cain and Tantrum (a national act that opened for some big names such as the group
Spirit and Bob Seger). He is also an accomplished songwriter and has several CD's
of original material and a production company (Legend of the Hawk).
Cliff
Douglas; vocals and guitar. Cliff has a great voice and range. He also can chunk
out some solid rhythms and some burning leads on guitar. Cliff has worked closely
with Jim Hamblin on many projects including Bad Daddy, Ebenezer Groove, and Urban
Nomads.
Ken Crawford; Bass guitar and vocals. He has a very impressive
resume and is well known in the Detroit area for his work in Old Friends, Arrakis,
White Heat, Shooter and many others.
Jim Hamblin; drums and percussion.
Jim knows all the big names in Detroit, and even better, they all know him. Jim
has been playing drums since he was a child and is a veteran of rock and roll.
He was the Road manager and lighting director for The Rockets. Jim's bands include;
Arrakis, Thrust, Automatic Slim, Pedestrians, Bad Daddy's, Ebenezer Groove and
Urban Nomads.
Jeff Johnson; drums, percussion and vocals. Jeff has been
in several bands that have played some big venues over the years. His bands include;
Pendragon, Powerplay, Shooter, Foxfire, Spice and Third Power (a national act).
